AgentFlo Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how AgentFlo (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) collects, uses, and discloses information when you use the AgentFlo mobile application (“the Service”). By using the Service you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you sign up or sign in, we receive your email address and authentication identifiers via Firebase Authentication.
Messages and content you create. Chat messages, attachments (images, videos, voice notes), and order/agent information you send through the app are stored in our backend (Google Firebase Firestore and associated storage) so that we can deliver them to the intended recipient and show your history across devices.
Device-generated media. When you choose to attach a photo, video, or voice recording, the file is captured on your device and uploaded to our backend as part of the message you send. We do not access your camera, microphone, or media library in the background or without your action.
Diagnostic data. Standard crash and performance data may be collected by Firebase to keep the Service stable.

2. Permissions we request and why

Camera (android.permission.CAMERA) — to let you take photos or videos as chat attachments. Used only when you tap the camera button.
Microphone (android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO) — to let you record voice notes as chat attachments. Used only while you hold the record button.
Photos & videos (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO, and READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE on Android 12 and below) — to let you pick an existing photo or video from your gallery to send as a chat attachment.
Internet (android.permission.INTERNET) — to send and receive messages and authenticate with our backend.

Each sensitive permission is requested at the moment you first use the corresponding feature, and you can revoke any of these permissions at any time from the Android system settings.

3. How we use the information

To operate the chat, agent, and order-placement features of the app.
To authenticate you and protect your account.
To deliver your messages and attachments to other users you are chatting with.
To diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.

We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising.

4. How we share information

With other users you communicate with. Messages and attachments are delivered to the recipients you choose.
With service providers. We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, and related infrastructure) to host the backend. Their handling of data is governed by the Firebase privacy and security terms.
When required by law. We may disclose information if required by a valid legal process.

5. Data retention

Account and message data is retained while your account is active. If you wish to delete your account or your stored messages and attachments, please contact us using the address below and we will action the request within a reasonable period.

6. Children

AgentFlo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on Google Firebase infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
